Angus Tyler Inspire is a multi-talented singer-songwriter, composer, and producer whose musical journey began at the age of six, writing songs from the moment he could sit at a piano. A gifted instrumentalist, Angus plays both drums and piano, and has developed a unique voice in today’s music scene by blending the richness of classical music with the soulfulness of pop, funk, and jazz.

In recent years, Angus found a deep well of inspiration in the theme of profound love—a love that transcends conditions, rooted in the philosophical ideas of non-dualism. This spiritual and emotional depth now shapes the lyrics and core messages of his work. His music aims to touch that deeper, universal layer of human connection.

Drawing heavily from the harmonic worlds of Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, and Igor Stravinsky, as well as minimalists like Steve Reich and John Adams, Angus infuses his music with lush textures and nuanced compositions. But his heart also beats to the songs of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Michael Franks—artists whose soul and honesty continue to inspire his sound.

Angus is currently working on his debut album, titled Choose Love. Each song on the record explores the essence of unconditional love, with arrangements that feature classical orchestration alongside, vocals, piano, keyboards, bass, and drums. The album’s production is deeply inspired by the iconic sonic worlds of the 1970s and 1980s—artists and producers like Quincy Jones, Tommy LiPuma, and Jay Graydon serve as key reference points.

Brazilian music is another major influence for Angus. The voices of Elis Regina, the harmonies of Jobim and Ivan Lins, and the emotional storytelling of Milton Nascimento and Djavan are deeply woven into his musical DNA. Jazz also runs in his blood—his father, a jazz pianist and vocalist, contributed as a guest on Angus’ first single. Growing up surrounded by a record collection filled with Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Weather Report, Erroll Garner, and, of course, Stevie Wonder, Angus developed an ear for rich, timeless music from a young age.
